LITTAUER, LUCIUS NATHAN:

American congressman and manufacturer; born in Gloversville, N. Y., Jan. 20, 1859. He graduated from Harvard University in 1878, after which he engaged in the glove-manufacturing business with his father, whom he succeeded in 1882. He was elected in 1896 to the 55th Congress as Republican representative of the 25th District of New York and has been re-elected to each succeeding Congress. He has served as a member of the Committee on Appropriations.
